This will be an online publication consisting of two series of volumes. The first will be volumes dedicated to research on the general topic of climate change. This series will be open for articles and papers from interested parties that deal with the varied aspects of climate change on not just human populations but the environment in general. The purpose of this series is to help make information available on the many aspects of the issues around climate change. These topics will include the impact of sea level changes at the end of the Ice age on human communities and the environment; the projected threats from the changing climate; concerns about how to mitigate the impact of the changing climate on human and general environmental communities; and general observations about the impact of communities and regions coming from climate change. This series will be open to interested groups and individuals not necessarily apart of the Environmental Concern Collective.  

The second series will volumes dedicated to publishing the results of the Environmental Concern Collective projects in dealing with threats to particular communities and regions. These volumes will include why we where involved what were the issues and how we collected the data necessary to help preserve the communities or regions part in human history and principally how we develop solutions to help the commutes deal with the climate issues. The publication will also include a section on monitoring the community after procedures have implemented into helping the community become sustainable. This last part is important in developing procedures and protocols that work in mitigating the effects of climate change.  

The general purpose of the Journal is to bring the concerns around climate change to the front and to help generate discussions about the developing nature of the threats and how to deal with those threats that are arising from the changing climate.
